As part of taking up social and health related issues of the community, the Village Organization Coordination Committee (VOCC) of Rakeshmari gram panchayat, Dhekiajuli block (Assam) had organized a camp for distributing health cards under the Atal Amrit Abhiyan (AAA). The Atal Amrit Abhiyan is a pioneering health assurance scheme by the Government of Assam intended to provide cashless treatment to cover specific critical care procedures. More than 140 cards were distributed among the community members.
